Position: Early Childhood Teacher / Childcare Educator
Location: Horizon Daycare
Schedule: Full-time / Part-time positions available
About the Role
As a teacher at Horizon Daycare, you will help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Our educators guide learning through play, exploration, and positive relationships.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for children
- Implement age-appropriate learning activities and curriculum
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members
- Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and leadership
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Passion for early childhood education
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, patient, and positive attitude
- Ability to pass background checks required by state licensing
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
