- Location: Edison, NJ
- Time Commitment: 1 hour per week
- Availability of Client: Saturdays (any time) are ideal but Tuesdays are also an option as a plan B
- Additional Details: The client and his parents are Asian, and English is not their primary language. His parents believe he would benefit from working with an English teacher to improve his communication skills and increase his confidence using English in everyday situations. Mom would like him to talk more and express himself, as he does have speech challenges.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Patience, reliability, encouraging attitude, and ability to build positive rapport
- Ability to provide individualized instruction and explain concepts clearly
- Clear professional communication with the student, family, and Actual Solutions Tutoring team
- Reliable transportation to in-person session locations
