Pay Rate: $15 to $22 per hour

Job Summary
If you're interested in an Entry Level Laboratory Technician job, then this is the best role for you! The Laboratory Support Technician will support daily laboratory operations, including general housekeeping, sample handling, inventory management, and preparation of buffers and reagents. The role will also involve operating and troubleshooting laboratory equipment used for genotyping production and maintaining task-related documentation. The position requires strong attention to safety, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working with various teams and supervisors.
Job Description
- Support daily laboratory operations, including general housekeeping, organization, and cleanliness of the workspace.
- Receive, label, and organize incoming samples.
- Maintain adequate laboratory glassware and supply inventory.
- Prepare buffers and reagents as needed.
- Operate and troubleshoot equipment used for genotyping production.
- Review and archive task-related documents.
- Follow Employee Safety and Health (ESH) guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and workflow requirements.
- Maintain a safe and orderly laboratory environment.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Work with multiple supervisors and collaborate with manufacturing and research personnel.
Skills Required
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily activities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in sample handling and documentation.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Education/Training/Certifications
- Laboratory-related education, training, or experience preferred.
- Training in laboratory safety, SOPs, and equipment operation is an advantage.
Additional Requirements
- Work schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
- Ability to follow safety, health, and laboratory procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment.
- Ability to interact professionally with manufacturing and research personnel.
- Willingness to perform routine housekeeping, inventory, sample-handling, and documentation tasks.
