Financial Literacy & Life Skills Tutor
- Location: Paramus, NJ
- Time Commitment: 3 hours per week
- Availability of Client: Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri after 5:30 PM
- Additional Details: The client is a 25-year-old adult with Down syndrome seeking a tutor replacement. She had a strong rapport with her previous tutor and may need additional support adjusting to a new person. Her current tutoring focus has been on building social skills, confidence, and communication skills to help her navigate interactions and connect more comfortably with others.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Patience, reliability, encouraging attitude, and ability to build positive rapport
- Ability to provide individualized instruction and explain concepts clearly
- Clear professional communication with the student, family, and Actual Solutions Tutoring team
- Reliable transportation to in-person session locations
