What You’ll Do:
As a Software Engineering Intern, you’ll dive into Rubrik’s cutting-edge technologies and work on challenging technical projects across various product areas. Projects could include:

• Designing and implementing machine learning models to enhance core functionalities.
• Optimizing tools to improve workflows for Rubrik’s engineering teams.
• Developing robust new security features for Rubrik’s products.
• Conducting exploratory research on emerging technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Availability to work full-time starting January 11, 2027 – May 7, 2027, at our headquarters in Palo Alto, CA.
• Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Expected graduation date in December 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Proficiency in one or more industry-standard programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, Python, C++, Objective-C, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with fundamental computer science concepts, such as algorithms, data structures, operating systems, concurrency, and distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on software engineering experience through internships, competitive coding challenges, significant academic projects, or research publications.
