Part-Time STEM Instructor

Job Title: Part-time STEM Instructor (K-8)
Pay: $25 per hour
Job Summary: Co-instruct a classroom of 20-30 students to learn about
STEM while completing various engineering projects

Job Duties:
• Provide students with a project-based learning environment
• Teach students basic engineering principles
• Build multiple projects with students
• Provide weekly lesson plans to your liaison(s)
• Ability to effectively communicate lessons
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending
educational workshops and participating in training sessions
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:
• Pursuing at least a Bachelor’s Degree in education, engineering, math or
science discipline
• Basic knowledge of engineering fields and principles
• Classroom management skills; Communication; Time
management; Leadership
• Previous work with elementary and/or middle school students
