Our Easton Child Care Center is looking for enthusiastic and dependable Lead Childcare Teachers who are ready to bring their energy, creativity, and passion for working with children to the classroom.

π What You'll Do
As a Lead Childcare Teacher, you will help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow. You will:
Plan and lead age-appropriate activities throughout the day.
Create opportunities for children to explore, learn, play, and be creative.
Support each child's individual interests, abilities, and developmental needs.
Provide a safe, nurturing, and welcoming classroom environment.
Serve as a positive and caring role model for children.
Supervise and engage children throughout the day.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
Follow EEC regulations and Old Colony YMCA policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom.
Communicate effectively with families and Y leadership.
Complete required documentation and attendance records.
Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
Help create a positive team environment where everyone can learn and grow.

Requirements
Minimum of 21 years of age OR a high school diploma/equivalent and meet EEC requirements for education and experience for Teacher.
EEC Teacher Certification required.
CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
Evidence of a physical examination within the last 12 months.
Ability to remain active throughout the workday, including sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally and 40 lbs. frequently.
