Job Location: Vienna, VA

Syneren is seeking a motivated and technology-focused Technology Intern to join our team. The intern will work alongside technology professionals to support software applications, IT systems, data initiatives, process automation, and other technology projects.

This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience, develop technical and problem-solving skills, and understand how technology is used to support business operations and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associates, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, software, databases, or programming concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

 Technical Skills

Depending on the role, experience or familiarity with one or more of the following is beneficial:

  • Programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or SQL
  • Web technologies and application development
  • Databases and data management
  • Cloud computing concepts
  • Microsoft 365 and productivity technologies
  • Data analysis and visualization
  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts
  • Cybersecurity fundamentals
  • Software testing and quality assurance
  • APIs and system integrations
  • Git or other version-control tools
  • IT support and troubleshooting

 

The college would need to provide sponsorship for anyone who is not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and who does not otherwise have authorization to work in the United States.
