Junior Dynamics Architect
Abound Health · Remote (US) · Full-time
About Abound Health
Abound Health is a multi-state provider of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), operating across North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. Our operations run on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and the Power Platform. The platform touches nearly every part of the business: recruiting and onboarding of direct support professionals, member intake and case management, service scheduling, communications, and compliance.
About the Role
We're hiring a Junior Dynamics Architect to support the day-to-day operation of our Dynamics 365 environment and grow into a deep expert on how Abound's processes run through the platform. You'll be the first stop for questions and issues from Dynamics users, and you'll learn how our systems connect — Dynamics, our scheduling and billing platform, our applicant tracking system, and the data pipelines between them — so that over time you understand the end-to-end flow better than anyone.
What You'll Do
Day-to-Day Operations Support
- Serve as the first line of support for Dynamics users: triage questions, reproduce issues, resolve what you can, and escalate what you can't with clear, well-documented findings
- Handle routine platform requests: user and security role setup, view and form adjustments, data corrections, queue and routing tweaks
- Monitor Power Automate flows, journeys, and scheduled processes; investigate failures and coordinate fixes
Learning the Integrations
- Learn how data moves between Dynamics and our connected systems, and what each integration is responsible for
- Trace records across systems to diagnose sync issues — where a record originated, where it should have landed, and where it stopped
- Build the working knowledge needed to answer "why does this look different in system A than system B" without escalating
Becoming the Process Expert
- Document how each core operational process runs through the platform — recruiting and onboarding, intake, scheduling, communications
- Sit with operational teams to understand how they actually use the system, and surface gaps between designed process and real behavior
- Become the go-to reference for "how does this work today" for both the Dynamics and Operations teams
Growing into Configuration and Design
- Take on scoped configuration work under guidance: Business Process Flows, Power Automate flows, Customer Insights - Journeys forms and journeys, Customer Service routing and queue changes
- Write and execute test cases, support UAT, and help roll changes out consistently
- Contribute to solution documentation and change logs
Required Qualifications
- Strong willingness to learn and the discipline to learn systematically — you dig into how things work rather than just making the error go away
- Analytical, detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting: you can trace a problem step by step and explain what you found
- Clear written and verbal communication with non-technical users; patience and a service mindset
- Comfort working with data in tables and spreadsheets — filtering, comparing, spotting inconsistencies
- Ability to manage a queue of requests across multiple stakeholders and keep people informed
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong technical skills — scripting or programming (Python, JavaScript, C#), SQL, data analysis, or comparable technical coursework or experience
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform is preferred — Power Automate, model-driven Power Apps, Dataverse, or Dynamics 365
- Experience supporting or administering any CRM or business application (Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, or similar)
- Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) or willingness to obtain it in the first 12 weeks
- Experience in healthcare, human services, or another regulated environment
Nice to Have
- Exposure to process documentation or business analysis work
- Familiarity with integration concepts — APIs, data pipelines, or ETL — at any level
