IEP Advocate Assistant Intern
Florida IEP Advocate & Associates, Inc. is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented IEP Advocate Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a UCF student or recent graduate interested in education, exceptional student education (ESE), psychology, social work, legal studies, or advocacy.
The Advocate Assistant will work alongside our Partners, Associates, and IEP Advocates to support families navigating special education services. Knowledge of IEPs, IDEA, Section 504, or special education is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities include:
- Organizing and reviewing educational records
- Preparing case and meeting materials
- Assisting with correspondence
- Coordinating meetings and follow-ups
- Maintaining client files
- Providing general case support
Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, confidentiality, and a passion for supporting students and families.
