About the Opportunity

PGS is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory & Administrative Data Analyst to join our Inventory team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory, financial, billing, and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) data across our Metals Division and approved FTZ warehouse operations.

 

The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, identifying discrepancies, solving problems, and keeping detailed records organized and accurate. You will collaborate closely with Accounting, Operations, and Management to ensure inventory activity is properly documented, financial information is accurate, and month-end processes are completed on time.

 

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and audit inventory data throughout the month to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review inventory information including rates, stock levels, units of measure, weights, and quantities.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with internal teams to determine appropriate resolutions.
  • Review and audit inbound and outbound FTZ documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Follow up with internal teams to obtain missing documentation.
  • Ensure required FTZ documentation is uploaded and properly maintained in internal systems.
  • Maintain daily data entry in the FTZ regulatory spreadsheet.
  • Follow established internal controls and procedures related to inventory and FTZ operations.
  • Help ensure standard procedures are consistently followed at approved FTZ warehouses.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • This position will work in an office environment. 
  • You will be expected to work a full-time schedule during normal business hours, which are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. 
  • Benefits: Benefits are not offered during the initial temp/contract period. Full company benefits package becomes available upon successful transition to permanent employment.
