Content Intern - Music Industry
Hallwood Media is looking for a Content Intern to lead short-form content shoots for our diverse roster of artists. In addition to planning and coordinating short-form video shoots, you'll be working directly with our marketing team to help shape brand positioning and creative direction for each artist. This is a great fit for someone who wants real production and marketing strategy experience.
This role is unpaid with the potential to transition into a paid opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and run short-form content shoots for artists (TikTok/Instagram-style videos)
- Collaborate directly with our marketing team on brand positioning and creative strategy
- Help develop content concepts that align with each artist's campaign goals
- Coordinate on-site shoot logistics (scheduling, locations, talent, equipment as needed)
- Support post-production/editing handoff as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience shooting or producing short-form/social video content (TikTok, Reels, etc.)
- Interest in music marketing and artist branding
- Comfortable working independently and coordinating with a small team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Portfolio or reel of past content work preferred
Requirements:
Since this is an unpaid internship, all participants are required to receive academic credit through their school.
The Hallwood Media Internship Program complies with all applicable California state law and internship program requirements, including:
- The internship must be for the benefit of the intern.
- The intern must receive training that is similar to what would be given in an educational environment.
- The internship must be primarily for the benefit of the intern, not the employer.
The intern must not displace regular employees and must work under close supervision of existing staff. - The intern must not be entitled to a job at the conclusion of the internship.
- The intern must be informed in writing that they will not receive any wages or benefits for the internship.
