Administrative Support Specialist
Rogers Educational Services, LLC is seeking a Part-Time Administrative Support Specialist to provide administrative and operational support for a growing educational and behavioral health services practice. This position assists with client services, scheduling, office operations, insurance verification, billing support, records management, and administrative reporting. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and visitors and provide outstanding customer service.
- Answer and route phone calls and respond to routine inquiries.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments.
- Assist with intake paperwork and referral management.
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
- Verify insurance eligibility and maintain related documentation.
- Assist with billing preparation and claims tracking.
- Maintain spreadsheets, reports, and administrative databases.
- Monitor office supplies and support general office operations.
- Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other standard business technologies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or coursework in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Medical Office Administration, Human Services, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Previous administrative, customer service, healthcare, or office experience.
- Experience with scheduling systems, electronic records, or billing processes.
Schedule
- Part-time, approximately 15-25 hours per week.
- Flexible schedule based on organizational needs.
- Some daytime availability preferred.
