Distribution Operator
As a Distribution Operator, you'll work in our Energy Control Center monitoring the electric distribution system, coordinating outage restoration, dispatching field crews, and supporting safe and reliable grid operations. This is a fast-paced role where you'll use technology, problem-solving skills, and teamwork to respond to real-time system events and emergencies.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and operate the electric distribution system.
- Coordinate switching activities and planned system outages.
- Analyze outages and support service restoration efforts.
- Dispatch crews and coordinate emergency response activities.
- Utilize SCADA and Outage Management systems.
- Collaborate with field operations, engineering, and system operators.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related technical field preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Interest in power systems, grid operations, and utility technology.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
