Early Childhood Learning Specialist
Position: Early Childhood Learning Specialist
Northside Tutoring, an Atlanta-based tutoring and test prep company ("Land at Your Target School"), is seeking an Early Childhood Learning Specialist to support young learners in building foundational academic and developmental skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction and support for young children (pre-K through early elementary) in foundational literacy, numeracy, and cognitive skills
- Design developmentally appropriate activities that build school readiness (letter/sound recognition, early math concepts, fine motor skills, listening and following directions)
- Identify early signs of learning differences or delays and adapt instruction accordingly
- Create a warm, engaging, and structured learning environment suited to young children's attention spans and needs
- Communicate regularly with parents on developmental milestones, progress, and strategies to reinforce learning at home
- Track student growth over time and adjust plans as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children in an educational or developmental setting (preschool, early elementary, or early intervention)
- Background in early childhood education, child development, special education, or a related field preferred
- Understanding of age-appropriate learning benchmarks and school-readiness skills
- Patient, nurturing, and creative teaching style
- Strong communication skills with parents and young children alike
