Communications Intern
Position Summary:
Chapter Media & Communications focuses on the current Chapters, establishing relationships with them, and networking. They also create compelling monthly newsletters to send out to our members and maintain contact with them. Chapter Media & Communications is the point of contact for Chapters if they have any questions or concerns or want to order any of the NSTEM merchandise. The interns collaborate closely with e-commerce.
The intern will use software such as Mailchimp and Google Applications.
Responsibilities:

Newsletter Content:
- Assist in the creation and editing of engaging content for newsletters.
- Conduct research and gather relevant information for newsletters and resource libraries.

Resource Library:
- Curate and organize content for the organization's resource library.

New Chapter Onboarding:
- Support the onboarding process for new chapters by providing necessary resources and guidance.

Social Media Strategy:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement on Facebook.

Client Services:
- Interact with existing chapters to address issues and provide superior customer service.

Monthly Newsletters:
- Manage and produce monthly newsletters targeted at students in existing chapters.

Social Media Engagement:
- Foster engagement by interacting with chapters' social media accounts.
