Now Hiring: Precision Manufacturing Talent in Niles, MI

Niles Precision is expanding our team and hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift positions:

  • De-Burr Technicians — 5 openings | $18–$23/hour
  • Hone/Lap Operators — 4 openings | $20–$28/hour
  • CNC Machinists — 4 openings | $20–$28/hour

De-Burr Technicians

Ideal candidates have at least one year of experience, preferably in an aerospace manufacturing environment, along with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Remove burrs from machined parts
  • Blend, polish, and finish castings, forgings, and machined products
  • Perform tumbling and visual inspections
  • Conduct blueprint checks
  • Maintain equipment and a clean, safe work area

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or proven work history
  • Strong communication skills and quality focus
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Hone/Lap Operators

We are seeking reliable, experienced honing operators with the ability to maintain strict cylindricity and size control on precision bores within tight geometric tolerances.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce parts to print and within customer quality specifications
  • Set up and operate manual or powered honing machines
  • Use honing-related gaging equipment to verify precision work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least one year of hands-on experience or demonstrated proficiency
  • Basic knowledge of GD&T
  • Experience with honing gages, setup, and machine operation
  • Organized, reliable, and efficient work habits
  • Ability to lift 25-lb boxes

CNC Machinists

Looking for experienced CNC machinists with advanced knowledge and proven skill in producing parts for the aerospace market.

Responsibilities:

  • CNC machining, setup, and programming
  • Blueprint reading and application of GD&T
  • Select and use appropriate gaging
  • Independent problem solving
  • Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy to required specifications
  • Lift up to 40 pounds unassisted

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience machining close-tolerance products
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation
  • Background check required
