Civil/Project Engineer
Primary responsibilities:
- Perform research and code reviewfor assigned projects
- Perform field site reviews, projectevaluations and obtainfield information for project designs
- Develop site, gradingand utility designsfor various projectsusing CAD (Microstation) and Civil engineering design software
- Develop stormwater management and erosion controlplans for projectsincluding associated calculations and reports
- Assist with the development of plans, specifications and bid documents for various projects
- Assist with projectbidding, contracting and construction projectmanagement
- Perform construction site QA/QC field visits to document work progression and review consistency with design documents
- Prepare professional writtentechnical reports and documents for submission to reviewing authorities
- Effectively collaborate and correspond with clients, sub-consultants and others on project teams
- Adhere to companypolicies, procedures and confidentiality requirements surrounding the servicesprovided to clients
- Demonstrate a sense of urgencyin meeting client commitments and deadlines with an unwavering focus on quality
DE S I R E D S K I L LS / A B I L I T I E S :
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University with emphasisin Civil Engineering
- 0-2 years experience in civil engineering
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- The ability to work collaboratively with other team members and clients
- Excellent computer skillsand a working knowledge of MS OfficeSuite
- Prior CAD and/orCivil Design softwareexperience (preferred, but not required)
- Ability to adapt to changingpriorities, while consistently performing quality work and meetingdeadlines is required
- Must be legallyauthorized to work in the U.S. withoutthe need for sponsorship. This position is not eligiblefor sponsorship.
