Volunteer Opportunity: Flag Football Coach


Are you ready to lead the next generation of athletes and foster a love for flag football? Join the YMCA of Middle Tennessee as a Volunteer Flag Football Coach! This is your chance to teach skills, build character, and create a fun, positive experience for young players.


What You’ll Do:

- Coach and guide a youth flag football team during practices and games

- Lead warm-ups, keep practices on schedule, and ensure equal playing time for all participants

- Communicate schedule changes, rain delays, or other updates with participants and families

- Promote safety by teaching proper techniques and maintaining equipment

- Build positive relationships with players, families, staff, and officials


Qualifications:

- Minimum Age: 18

- 1-3 years of coaching or teaching experience preferred

- Pass a background check and complete YMCA Youth Sports Coaches Training
