Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android)
⚠️ apply here, not on handshake: https://tally.so/r/5BJPkZ?source=handshake
we only review applications submitted through that link. takes about 10 minutes. no cover letter, promise.
about us
bettercampus makes canvas, brightspace, and other school software actually good. 2M+ students use it to track assignments and grades, plan their day, take notes, and study with ai.
george started it in high school as a tiny chrome extension to make canvas less painful. jake joined to help it grow. today we're at $1M+ ARR, fully bootstrapped, with a tiny team.
what you'll do
we don't have a mobile app yet. you'll build v1 and own it, from figuring out what bettercampus should be on a phone to shipping it on the app store and play store.
you'll enjoy this if you have shipped ios or android apps you're proud of, want to own the whole app, and have opinions about scroll physics.
what you'll get
- your name on the first bettercampus app
- 2M+ students already using bettercampus, so v1 has an audience from day one
- a direct line to the founders
- ny or remote, full or part time · free lunch in nyc 🥪
how to apply
- go to https://tally.so/r/5BJPkZ?source=handshake
- share app store / play store links, your github, and linkedin
- rate yourself, then tell us what v1 of bettercampus on your phone should be
applications through handshake alone won't be reviewed.
