Field Service Technician
The Linde On-Site Plant Technician is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of nitrogen producing plants
Key Responsibilities
- Solve field site issues and operate air separation plants with minimal supervision
- Interact with customers across various production plant types, providing guidance, support, and clear communication
- Maintain safety, quality, and compliance activities to uphold high company standards
- Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on compressors, gas analyzers, and control systems
- Manage time effectively to complete operations, maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and diagnosing plant problems
- Coordinate contractors and resources to support plant activities, audits, and administrative requirements
- Drive efficiency through strategic planning and project management, ensuring smooth plant operations
Ideal candidates will: - Apply proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance, including compressors; military engineering experience is highly regarded
- Exhibit strong safety awareness and strict adherence to procedures while troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing equipment
- Understand process control schematics and communicate technical information clearly in both verbal and written form
- Utilize proficiency with computers, Microsoft applications, and process control systems supported by strong organizational and time management skills
- Meet physical requirements including confined space entry, climbing, lifting up to fifty pounds, and working at heights
- Demonstrate flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and call-in coverage ensuring reliable and safety-focused presence during critical operational periods
- You bring familiarity with procurement processes and quality control analyzers, thriving in dynamic conditions involving service truck driving, office work, and physical activity
