Job description
Dishwashers needed during following times:
Monday through Thursday - 1:30pm-6:30pm, Fridays - 11:30am-4:30pm
Dining and Retail Services - Retail is hiring student employees for flexible, on-campus positions. No experience is necessary. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, cashiering, and dishwashing. Employees must be dependable, follow safety protocols, able to work a minimum of 10 hours a week, and be available during lunch hours. All duties should be performed in accordance with training and university policies. This position begins as early as mid‑August.
Physical requirements:
- Stand for a minimum of 4 hours’ time continuously
- Able to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly, including reaching outward, upward, and sideways
- Utilize kitchen tools safely, and maneuver throughout a kitchen environment
Duties may include:
- Assist with all phases of food preparation
- Provide customer service in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Maintain sanitation standards and portion control
- Set up and restock serving stations
- Maintain beverage dispensers and replenish condiments
- Stock items using FIFO procedures
- Cash handling and register operation
- Dishwashing
- Other duties as assigned
