Food and Consumables Associate

Walmart is seeking a dedicated Food and Consumables Department Associate to maintain high standards of inventory availability, visual presentation, and customer service across our dry grocery, dairy, frozen, and consumable aisles. In this role, you will unload incoming freight, efficiently stock and zone shelves, manage inventory rotation to maximize freshness, organize backroom storage bins, and ensure a clean, hazard-free shopping environment. You will also warmly greet shoppers and assist them in locating specific food or essential household items to deliver an excellent overall shopping experience.

 Candidates must be at least 18 years old, pass a background check, and have the physical stamina to stand or walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds in varying temperatures, including walk-in coolers and freezers. Strong communication, attention to detail, efficient time management, and a collaborative teamwork mindset are essential for success as you keep our high-volume essentials fully stocked.
