Part-Time Teaching Assistant
Are you a responsible, friendly, and organized individual with excellent communication skills? We're looking for a Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join our team in Livingston, NJ. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with children, gaining experience in an educational classroom setting, and managing administrative tasks with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:

Administrative Tasks and Material Prep: Efficiently handle administrative duties for our afterschool and sunday enrichment classes. This includes assisting with student enrollment, copying and preparing class materials for teachers, preparing student reports for parent teacher conferences, and other administrative tasks needed for an in-person learning center.

Friendly Communication: Be a friendly face and voice for our organization. You'll communicate with parents, teachers, and students, answering their questions and providing support in a helpful, approachable manner.

Computer Skills: You should be comfortable and organized with computer work to assist with updating spreadsheets, compiling information across documents, and other computer tasks as assigned.

Teaching Assistance: You may be asked to grade elementary and middle school writing, giving feedback on their essay organization, argument development, grammar, and more. Grade tests and homework using answer keys.
- Marketing Assistance (potential): Use your design and writing skills to help create promotional flyers and other marketing materials.
Qualifications:
- Responsible and reliable with strong attention to detail.
- Friendly and outgoing, with excellent English communication skills (college level).
- Experience with elementaryand middle school students
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency with Canva and video editing software to create promotional flyers and edit videos a plus
