Vylor is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Management Intern to join the Global System Effectiveness team within Global Seed Operations (GSO). This internship is designed as a six-month experience and provides hands-on exposure to digital-transformation initiatives, project coordination, and process-improvement efforts across a global organization. Candidates who are able to commit to the full six-month internship will be given preference; however, candidates available for a three-month internship may also be considered.
Working alongside product leaders, project managers, and business stakeholders, you will contribute to projects supporting the GSO digital strategy and system-transformation roadmap. You will build foundational project-management capabilities while helping teams organize work, track commitments, communicate progress, and improve execution.
What You Will Do
- Project coordination: Support product and project leaders with planning, coordinating, and tracking digital-transformation initiatives.
- Project controls: Maintain project plans, timelines, action-item logs, risk and issue records, status reports, and other working documents.
- Documentation and governance: Organize project documentation and help ensure key decisions, deliverables, owners, and due dates are clearly documented and communicated.
- Meeting support: Participate in project meetings and capture decisions, risks, dependencies, action items, owners, and next steps.
- Performance reporting: Collect, organize, and report data related to project progress, process performance, and team effectiveness.
- Process improvement: Support process-mapping activities, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and help develop practical improvement recommendations.
- Stakeholder coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to gather requirements, resolve information gaps, and support project execution.
- Business communication: Create presentations, project updates, and other communications tailored to business stakeholders and project teams.
- Continuous learning: Learn and apply project-management tools, methods, and best practices while contributing ideas that improve team communication and execution.
Qualifications
Required
- Currently pursuing a degree in business, project management, supply chain, operations, information systems, agriculture, engineering, or a related field
- Strong organization, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and ways of working
Preferred
- Experience leading or coordinating a project through coursework, employment, internships, volunteer work, athletics, or student organizations
- Interest in digital transformation, business processes, project management, continuous improvement, or supply chain operations
- Experience creating project plans, process maps, presentations, dashboards, or status reports
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Planner, Power BI, SharePoint, or other project and collaboration tools
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to communicate effectively with people from different functions, regions, or backgrounds
