Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern to join our Finance team for the summer. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business decision support within a dynamic corporate environment.

The FP&A Intern will work closely with finance and business leaders to help analyze financial performance, identify trends, and support strategic initiatives that drive business results.

Potential Project Description: 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis. 
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes. 
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership. 
  • Help identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Assist with financial modeling and scenario analysis. 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather data and support business initiatives. 
  • Contribute to special projects and process improvement efforts within Finance. 
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information and documentation.

Qualifications

Required

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. 
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. 
  • Strong attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Experience with financial modeling, data analysis, or reporting tools. 
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, Power BI, or financial planning software. 
  • Previous internship, work, or leadership experience.
