AI Researcher, Machine Learning Engineer, New Grad

KOS Inc. is an AI HealthTech research lab in Stanford Research Park, Palo Alto. We build non invasive wearable medical devices and the clinical AI that runs on them. Roughly 50 engineers working on solving early death through AI and biomedical innovation.

What you will do
Train and evaluate deep learning models on raw physiological sensor data such as PPG, accelerometer and temperature.
Take models from research notebook to on device inference on constrained wearable hardware.
Build and maintain data pipelines for large scale clinical and lab datasets.
Run ablations, design experiments and defend results with clean evaluation.
Work directly with firmware, hardware and clinical teams on real patient data.

Minimum requirements
BS, MS or PhD completed by summer 2027 in EECS, CS, AI, Math, Statistics, Physics or a related field.
Strong Python and PyTorch.
Solid grounding in deep learning fundamentals, signal processing or time series modeling.
Evidence of building something real, such as research code, a shipped project or open source work.

Nice to have
Experience with biosignals, PPG, ECG or wearable sensor data.
Model compression, quantization or on device inference.
Publications in ML or biomedical signal processing.

Location
On site in Palo Alto, California. Full time.
