Data Entry Specialist

Position: Data Entry Specialist- Inventory, Sales & Production – Full Time

Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

Reports To: Supply Chain Manager

January Foods Corp. is the leading manufacturer in North America of Chinese style meat products including sausages and BBQ pork. We specialize in using authentic and original recipes, to ensure our customers consume high-quality products.

Job Summary:

This individual will be a key player in supporting the operations team by working closely with production department, to gather daily inventory data and resources, prepare and enter daily data in the system for accurate analysis purposes. Experience in operations is preferred, good understanding in analyzing data and excellent data entry skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Assist Supply Chain Manager in daily inventory analysis

· Collect daily production transaction data, verify data by comparing it to source documents, and perform data entry

· Initiate purchase orders for ingredients and supplies

· Secure and analyze quotations, including negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers

· Evaluate planning elements (lead time, safety stock, days supply, etc.) for components and ingredients. Establish reorder points and reorder quantities for materials as applicable

· Receive & process sales orders within company ERP system

· Work with sales team on a daily basis

· Assist in various processes improving projects

· Additional responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's (Preferred) or equivalent experience

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

· Excellent data entry and analysis skills

· Ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment

· Bi-lingual in English and Vietnamese or Chinese preferred

· Ability to understand English, instructions and guidelines to perform the functions of the job

· Must be a team player, attention to detail, quick learner

· Must be punctual, dependable, and work well with employees of different cultures.

· Able to stand, walk for extended period of time

Compensation range $28-$32/hr. This is a full-time hourly position.
