TITLE: Clinical Nursing Instructor for Adult Practical Nursing Program – Part Time

STARTING DATE: As soon as possible

LOCATION: Jefferson Lewis BOCES Practical Nursing Simulation Lab at Globe and Samaritan Medical Center locations

COMPENSATION: $52.00 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Provide clinical nursing instruction and supervision to adult nursing students two days per week at various healthcare facilities. Facilitate hands-on laboratory instruction, including skills practice and simulation-based learning experiences. Evaluate student performance in clinical and laboratory settings and provide constructive feedback to support student growth and competency development. Ability to deploy simulation-based instruction subsequent to in-service training sessions. Collaborate with program faculty and clinical partners to ensure effective implementation of the nursing curriculum.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required (will consider actively enrolled).
Current, unencumbered New York Registered Professional Nurse license.
Minimum of two years recent RN experience: with medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification; BLS Instructor
certification preferred.
Pre-Employment Assessment and NYSED Requirements of approved fingerprints prior to hire date, DASA Training and SAVE Workshop, Child Abuse Identification Workshop, and acquisition of Job Skills certification.
