7th and 8th Grade Math & Science Teacher

Responsibilities 

  • Provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all students
  • Utilize state standards,and  research-based best practices in classroom instruction
  • Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans
  • Communicate with families regarding the academic and social-emotional growth of their child
  • Incorporate technology skills into daily practice to support learning
  • Collaborate with teaching team, parents, and administrators 
  • Create a safe and engaging learning environment  












 

Qualifications

 

  • Ohio teaching license for the corresponding grade level, or the ability to obtain a license
  • Knowledge of Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession and Special Education
  • Willingness to meet the needs of all students (e.g. at-risk, high achieving, special education)
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships effectively and professionally with families and students
  • Willingness to work in school-sponsored and school related activities
  • Experience working with a culturally diverse student population
