Description
This position will be shown as Confidential on ADP as it is a student job board only and all jobs are advertised and communicated through Handshake. However, please note that the information obtained through this process is shared with Human Resources, Hiring Managers/Supervisors, Recruiters, Payroll, and/or other decision-makers that need the information to complete the hiring process at Detroit Mercy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Interact daily with the University Community and external vendors in a professional manner.
- Process event requests for events to be held on campus.
- Assist with inputting events on the University Calendar in CouseDog.
- Assist with web updates within Cascade.
- Answer office telephone using a professional and pleasant demeanor.
- Assist Detroit Mercy Community with any University-related issues.
- Check the office voicemail daily.
- Welcome and direct visitors.
- Check daily the departmental email account for incoming invoices, event requests, or other documentation.
- Maintain various Excel spreadsheets as requested.
- Work with the Facility Operations Work Request System.
- Process Check Requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Work Study preferred.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must have a positive attitude and friendly demeanor!
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office suite, experience with Cascade is a plus.
- Experience with Event Scheduling preferred.
Anticipated Schedule:
- Flexible around your schedule, but between 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
