Founding Sales Development Representative

About ProcIndex:
ProcIndex is a YC startup, building agents for financial & accounting operations. Our agents power the accounting teams of traditional industries automating different sections of their accounting ops. We're selling into a massive market that AI has barely touched, and growing fast.

About the role

We're hiring our first sales & growth hire. You'll work directly with the founder every day to build our outbound engine from zero — the lists, the sequences, the talk tracks, the playbook every rep after you will run.

This is a zero-to-one role with the fastest AE track in tech: the moment you're booking consistent pipeline, you start closing it. No promotion queue, no waiting your turn.

What you'll do

  • Prospect and build pipeline for our ICP: CFOs, controllers, and AP managers at mid-market companies running NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QBO
  • Run multi-channel outbound — cold email, LinkedIn, occasional phone — to book qualified discovery calls
  • Own list-building and ICP research. You'll get fluent in Apollo, Sales Nav, Clay, and HubSpot in your first 60 days
  • Write your own outreach. We don't want templated marketing speak. We want messages that sound like a smart human wrote them
  • Join discovery calls that you book. Watch deals get closed. Learn the playbook by being in the room
  • Feed insights back to product and marketing. You'll be the closest person on the team to the buyer

Who you are

  • Recent grad (Class of 2024 through 2026) or 0–24 months of work experience
  • A strong writer. You can read a CFO's LinkedIn profile and write three sharp lines that would make them reply
  • Curious about finance, accounting, or AI. Bonus if you studied accounting/finance, or have worked at one
  • Allergic to corporate-speak. You'd rather sound like a human than sound "professional"
  • Quietly competitive. You want to be the best at this, not just hit a quota
  • Comfortable being uncomfortable. Founding-team SDR means writing playbooks, not following them
