Global Operations Analyst

THE OPPORTUNITY

IL MAKIAGE is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Global Operations Analyst.

As an integral part of the Operations & Logistics team, you will help run and continuously improve IL MAKIAGE’s global physical operations across the US and our international markets. You will work closely with the VP of Operations and gain exposure to a broad range of areas including warehouse operations, inventory, logistics, fulfillment, cost management, analytics, and cross-functional projects.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment with significant opportunity for growth and development. You will work closely with teams across Supply Chain, Finance, Product Development, Customer Experience, Tech, and other areas of the business, as well as with our external warehouse, carrier, and logistics partners.

We are less focused on whether you have done this exact job before and more interested in finding someone who is smart, analytical, highly organized, curious, and excited to take real ownership early in their career.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will help run IL MAKIAGE’s global physical operations across a growing network of warehouses, carriers, fillers, and logistics partners. You’ll roll up your sleeves and dig into areas including:

  • Warehouse & fulfillment operations. Monitor day-to-day performance across our warehouse and carrier network, identify issues, and work directly with internal teams and external partners to drive resolution.
  • Inventory management & controls. Help manage monthly inventory reconciliations across our global network, investigate discrepancies, and participate in physical inventory counts at our warehouses and other operational locations.
  • Operational execution. Support product launches, test orders, packaging and pack-out changes, domestic shipments, inventory transfers, and other operational needs across the business.
  • Performance & cost management. Analyze fulfillment, shipping, inventory, and cost performance; identify trends and root causes; and help drive actions when performance misses expectations.
  • Data-driven continuous improvement. Use Excel, Looker, Alteryx, and other tools to analyze problems, improve processes, and support operational decision-making.
  • Cross-functional projects. Solve complex operational issues and support growth initiatives by collaborating with Supply Chain, Finance, Product Development, CX, Tech, and other teams.
  • Whatever else is needed to make our physical operations work better. The role is intentionally broad, and we expect you to identify opportunities, take ownership, and increasingly drive improvements yourself.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented and can manage multiple priorities without losing track of the individual details.
  • You are a self-starter who takes ownership, follows through, and does not need to be reminded twice.
  • You are sharp and structured and enjoy taking messy problems and turning them into clear actions.
  • You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced and sometimes unstructured environment, where there may not always be a detailed playbook.
  • You are analytically strong and comfortable working with numbers, Excel, and data.
  • You are naturally curious and willing to dig until you understand why something happened rather than stopping at the first answer.
  • You communicate clearly and work well with different types of people, both internally and with external partners.
  • You are low-ego and willing to get into the weeds — whether that means working through an Excel file, investigating an inventory discrepancy, or spending time on a warehouse floor.
  • You are eager to learn, take on increasing responsibility, and grow quickly.
  • Passion for consumer products, e-commerce, beauty, or wellness is a plus.
