Camera Operator / Videographer

Camera Operator / Videographer Internship

RexandAlexa LLC | Glendale, CA (and other agreed-upon locations) | Part-Time, In-Person | Internship

RexandAlexa LLC is a creator-led digital media and entertainment company producing gaming, lifestyle, and personality-driven content. This internship focuses on RexVlogs_, a YouTube vlog channel, and a livestreaming channel — supporting their growth through hands-on filming and live production.

The role

You'll work directly alongside the creator, camera in hand, for both pre-recorded vlogs and live IRL broadcasts. For RexVlogs_, that means capturing outings, challenges, behind-the-scenes moments, and the everyday experiences that get shaped into YouTube videos. For the livestreaming channel, you'll operate the camera live, follow the action in real time, and help make the broadcast engaging for the audience watching.

It's unscripted, it moves fast, and no two shoots are the same.

What you'll do

- Film footage for RexVlogs_ — key moments, reactions, supporting shots — that helps tell a complete story from start to finish.- Operate the camera during IRL livestreams, adapting to spontaneous situations and changing environments on the fly.- Set up and monitor cameras, microphones, lighting, stabilizers, and mobile streaming gear before and during shoots.- Keep an eye on framing, audio levels, battery life, and connection quality while live.- Bring ideas: shot concepts, filming styles, ways to interact with the audience.- Organize and hand off recorded footage to the video editor.- Work with the creator to build a consistent filming style and sharpen the workflow across both channels.

About you

- You have hands-on filming experience and examples of your work — class projects, personal projects, and freelance work all count.- You understand camera operation, composition, lighting, and audio recording.- You're genuinely interested in YouTube vlogs, live entertainment, and creator-driven content.- You stay focused and adapt well when things don't go according to plan.- You're willing to learn IRL streaming equipment and live production techniques if you haven't used them yet.- Strong communicator, reliable, organized, detail-oriented.- Available part-time for in-person filming in Glendale and other agreed-upon locations.

College students studying film production, cinematography, television, broadcasting, digital media, or related fields are especially encouraged to apply.

How to apply

Submit a brief introduction, your résumé, your availability, and relevant video examples or a camera reel. For each example, explain your role and describe any experience with cameras, audio equipment, or livestreaming.
