About Arka
Arka makes custom, eco friendly packaging for ecommerce brands. We are a small team in Austin, Texas selling direct to consumer on Shopify and to business customers across retail and logistics. Interns here are given real projects and real ownership rather than shadowing someone for a semester. You will sit with a team that supports you, and inside that you run your own work.
What you will do
Help build the internal tools and ecommerce software that power Arka's packaging platform.
- Build and test product features
- Fix bugs and improve existing code
- Collaborate with product and engineering
- Ship work that real customers touch

- Able to work through an unfamiliar codebase without hand holding
Compensation
Paid. $500 per month stipend. This role is not unpaid.
Course credit
This internship is eligible for course credit where your major and department allow it. Course credit is not required to participate, and you do not need to be enrolled in an internship course to apply.
Logistics
- Remote
- Approximately 10 to 15 hours per week
- Start as soon as you are able. The internship runs 90 days from your start date.
- Open to all majors and all class years
