Front Desk Lead

Next Generation Management & Accounting Services is a professional property management and accounting company specializing in condominium and homeowners association (HOA) management. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Front Desk Lead to join our team.

This full-time position is ideal for a customer-focused professional with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. The Front Desk Lead serves as the primary point of contact for residents, homeowners, guests, vendors, and visitors while overseeing the daily operations of the front desk team. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining professional standards, coordinating front desk coverage, and supporting the overall operations of the community.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of leading by example in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth while contributing to the successful operation and resident experience of a community association.

  • Hourly rate: $23.50 / hour
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (with a 30min lunch).
  • PTO: 40 hours of sick PTO after the 90-day probation period. 40 hours of vacation PTO after one year and 7 paid federal holidays.
  • Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist residents, guests, vendors, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner.

Supervise and support front desk staff to ensure excellent service and consistent office coverage.

Manage scheduling, shift coverage, and task delegation for the front desk team.

Monitor and maintain front desk procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards.

Serve as the main liaison between the front desk team and management, communicating updates, concerns, and feedback.

Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, and resolve issues or escalate as needed.

Oversee mail/package handling, visitor check-ins, and building access procedures.

Maintain records, logs, and daily reports as required.

Train new front desk team members and provide ongoing support and coaching.

Support property management or office operations with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or administrative certification is a plus.

Minimum of 2 years of front desk, customer service, or administrative experience.

Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with database systems or property management software.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
