MS Graduate Research Associate 

If you are only interested in the MS degree – think about aerospace structures under Dr. Martinez. We are currently seeking students to join the research team of Dr. Marcias Martinez, the B.H. Goethert Professor in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Dr. Martinez's groundbreaking research centers on the Holistic Structural Integrity Process (HolSIP). This physics-based approach aims to accurately assess the reliability of aerospace structures and extend their lifespan by analyzing how various failure mechanisms interact synergistically.

As a graduate student in Dr. Martinez's HolSIP Laboratory, you will gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge areas, including:
* Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) and Health Usage Monitoring (HUMS)
* Advanced finite element modeling and experimental mechanics
* Non-destructive evaluation (NDE) of metallic and composite structures
* Integration of machine learning algorithms for structural integrity
