Fine Jewelry Sales Specialist (Full-Time ONLY) — We’re looking for a career-oriented, dependable sales professional to join our team on State Street. In this role, you’ll advise and educate clients on our products and services, contribute to a collaborative team environment, and help create the kind of warm, boutique shopping experience Goodman’s is known for. A minimum of two years of luxury sales experience is required. We prefer someone with jewelry repair, custom jewelry and watch product knowledge. Starting pay is $19+/hour based on  experience. Essential Job Functions:

  • Dependability is a must.
  • Provide the highest quality customer service in person, by email, and over the phone
  • Professionally inform and advise clients on our products and services offered
  • Team oriented work ethic and team selling capabilities
  • Ability to take direction and learn from other team members and management
  • Active listening skills and retention
  • Must enjoy and excel at working with a variety of clientele
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with interruptions
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, & time management
  • Self-motivated with the ability to self-direct/adaptable
  • Problem solving capacities 
  • To be educated and maintain a high level or product and repair procedure knowledge
  • Perform product merchandising and other tasks to keep the store cleanly and inviting
  • Participate in opening and closing store procedures
  • Design experience and ability to articulate and translate design ideas to clients is highly preferred
  • Professional attire required in our luxury sales environment
  • Saturdays are REQUIRED (with a weekday off & Sundays.) Additional days/hours required during the holidays. (All overtime will be paid at time and a half.) If you are not able to work these hours, no need to apply

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday: 9:00-5:15. (With one weekday off)
  • Saturday: 9:00-4:15
  • Sunday: CLOSED
  • (Extended holiday days/hours in November & December required. This includes Sundays.)
