Hours: 2:30 PM - 4:15 PM

About the Role
Sportznmore is seeking an energetic, dependable, and positive Assistant Multi-Sport Coach to help lead engaging sports and movement programs for children ages 4-10 years old (TK through 3rd Grade).
As an Assistant Coach, you will support the Lead Coach in delivering fun, organized, and age-appropriate sports activities while helping create a safe, encouraging, and positive environment for all participants. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to gain coaching experience in a structured youth sports program.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Coach with daily sports and movement activities
- Help set up and organize equipment before each program
- Demonstrate drills, games, and activities for participants
- Encourage participation, teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior
- Assist with student supervision and group management
- Help maintain a safe and organized program environment
- Support children who may need additional guidance or encouragement
- Assist with equipment cleanup and site breakdown after each session
- Communicate professionally with school staff, parents, and team members as needed
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with children in sports, recreation, education, childcare, camps, or similar settings
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children
- Ability to assist with groups of 12+ children
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must pay and pass Livescan Fingerprint Background check
- Available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:30 PM - 4:15 PM
Preferred Qualifications
- Youth sports coaching experience
- Experience working with elementary-aged children
- Background in education, recreation, kinesiology, or child development
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Participation in organized sports or athletic programs
