Monday–Friday | 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. | School Year Pay: $19.00–$20.50/hour + benefits

St. Thomas More School is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Kindergarten Classroom Aide to join our school community.

The Kindergarten Aide works closely with the classroom teacher to support students academically, socially, and developmentally in a warm, structured learning environment.

Responsibilities: Support daily instruction, classroom activities, and routines

Work with individual students and small groups in early literacy, math, and other foundational skills. Reinforce positive behavior, independence, and classroom expectations. Support students with a variety of learning and developmental needs. Assist with supervision during transitions, recess, lunch, and other activities. Collaborate with the classroom teacher and student support team. 

Who We’re Looking For:  College students or recent graduates pursuing degrees in Education, Early Childhood Education, Literacy, Child Development, or related fields. Retired teachers and educators interested in staying connected to the classroom. Experienced paraeducators and classroom aides. Candidates with experience working with Kindergarten or early elementary students. Ideal candidates are patient, dependable, collaborative, and genuinely enjoy working with young children. Candidates should support the mission and values of Catholic education. 

Compensation: $19.00–$20.50 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits.
