Java Developer (Production Support)

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our technology team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality, enterprise-grade digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on programming experience, a solid understanding of modern web technologies and cloud platforms, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience. Advanced degree or studies preferred.
  • 2+ years of hands-on technology experience, with a proven track record of software development and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Highly proficient in full-stack development, with experience in technologies such as React, JavaScript, Python, Java, and Angular.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based application development.
  • Ability to analyze system architecture and contribute to technical design, architecture, and implementation planning.
  • Experience with enterprise-grade web content management platforms such as Acquia, Sitecore, or similar frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience managing and supporting ecosystems of knowledge management and content management tools, such as Drupal, is preferred.
  • Strong technical understanding of digital communication channels, content delivery, deliverability, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Human Resources, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Ability to effectively manage technical dependencies and coordinate software delivery across vendors and internal engineering teams.
  • Experience with Ping/Single Sign-On (SSO), Bitbucket Pipelines, Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) such as Cloudflare, and website monitoring tools such as New Relic.
  • Solid understanding of DNS, TLS/SSL certificates, REST APIs, caching strategies, and modern web infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
