Speech Language Pathology Assistant
SLPA – Coachella, CA | $44–$60/hr
Platinum Therapy is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, in-person school-based position in Coachella, CA.
This is a great opportunity for an SLPA who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable school-based experience.
What We Offer
- $44–$60/hour, based on qualifications and experience
- Bilingual compensation consideration
- $1,500 sign-on bonus for eligible California in-person clinicians
- Guaranteed hours for qualifying full-time positions
- Direct and indirect hours paid at the same rate
- $0.70/mile mileage reimbursement for qualifying travel
What You'll Do
- Provide speech and language therapy services under the direction of a licensed SLP.
- Implement individualized therapy plans and support students with their IEP goals.
- Provide services in English and Spanish as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Track and document student progress.
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, school staff and families.
- Support Spanish- and English-speaking students and families.
- Provide culturally responsive and engaging therapy services.
Qualifications
- Valid California SLPA license/authorization required.
- Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with children.
- Ability to work collaboratively with SLPs, educators and families.
