AVID tutors will work with small groups of middle-school students during the AVID elective class under the supervision of an AVID teacher. Tutors will also interact with individual students in order to mentor, guide, and support students at risk of failing. Tutors must attend training classes and will utilize the AVID learning strategies while tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school year. It is important for you to have your own or reliable transportation. Tutors must be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:45am-3:30pm. Please see the link below for a detailed job description.
