ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking an Analyst to join our growing team! The Analyst will work closely with team members to manage all aspects of both the firm’s existing assets under management and new acquisitions. This is primarily a quantitative position that requires extensive financial modeling expertise. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong foundation in real estate finance who can work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively analyzing acquisition opportunities by preparing financial analyses, conducting market research, and property-level due diligence on prospective real estate investments;
  • Modeling joint venture partnership waterfall structures to assess partnership and partner-level returns;
  • Assisting in closing transactions of property acquisitions and dispositions, including preparation and review of associated due diligence, legal documents, and settlement statements;
  • Leading the preparation of comprehensive investment recommendations and participating in presenting those recommendations to the Investment Committee;
  • Supporting all facets of asset management, including business plan development, leasing strategy and negotiations, construction oversight, and exit strategy planning and execution;
  • Overseeing internal valuation efforts for existing portfolio investments, and preparing periodic asset-level and portfolio-level valuation updates;
  • Preparing key reporting deliverables for external investors and partners;
  • Coordinating with legal, accounting, and property management teams to ensure compliance and alignment with investment objectives;
  • Leveraging financial modeling and AI-enabled tools to improve the speed and accuracy of underwriting, reporting, and market research.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3+ years of prior experience in Real Estate, Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Financial Consulting;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred;
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including experience with DCF and waterfall analyses;
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with Argus Enterprise preferred;
  • Proficiency with artificial intelligence tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to improve efficiency in financial analysis and reporting;
  • Working knowledge of core real estate finance concepts.
