UCI is a family-owned fiber conduit construction company that has proudly served the industry for nearly 50 years. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Wixom, Michigan.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a stable and growing company while learning directly from an experienced team member before an upcoming leave of absence.

Position Summary

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will support Area Managers and Supervisors by performing administrative and accounting-related functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, attentive to detail, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer invoicing accurately and timely
  • Initiate and track purchase orders
  • Create and maintain job files and records
  • Assist Area Managers and Supervisors with administrative tasks
  • Enter and maintain data in Microsoft Excel
  • Support accounts receivable functions and documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What Success Looks Like

  • Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
  • Learn critical processes and procedures from the current team member prior to her leave beginning in December
  • Maintain accuracy and organization while managing multiple tasks
  • Provide dependable support during a temporary department transition

Qualifications

  • Previous office, administrative, accounts receivable, or accounting experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Work Environment

  • Professional office environment
  • Primarily seated clerical work involving typing, phone communication, and computer use
  • Occasional travel between two office locations approximately one mile apart in Wixom

Schedule

Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
