Summary: 

Propel your career with a Top-Tier Global Pharma Leader in North Chicago, IL. We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist I for a 100% on-site, 6-month contract role. You will join a dynamic Quantitative, Translational, and ADME Sciences team driving advanced bioanalytical research to support life-changing therapeutic developments.

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform quantitative LC-MS/MS of synthetic molecules and peptides from in-vitro and in-vivo biomatrices to support ADME bioassays and PK/PD studies.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain LC-MS/MS instrumentation and associated lab equipment.
  • Analyze, interpret, and quantitate LC-MS/MS data efficiently within a high-throughput environment.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation across electronic lab notebooks, methods, and protocols with keen attention to detail.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members to meet tight project deadlines.

Qualifications: 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacology) with 0–3 years of experience, or a Master’s degree.
  • Hands-on experience operating instrumentation used for quantitative LC-MS/MS bioanalysis of synthetic molecules and peptides.
  • Demonstrated ability to review and quantitate LC-MS/MS data using industry software.
  • Strong understanding of analytical methodologies, acquisition, and troubleshooting.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with automated liquid handling robots and sample preparation platforms.
  • Working knowledge of ADME, PK/PD, and bioassays in drug development.
