Groups Ministry Intern - Spring 2027
The Groups Intern is someone who loves Jesus, enjoys connecting with people, and wants to explore ministry leadership. Joining a group is one of the ways we live out Embracing Community at Real Life, so Groups are an important part of our church culture and composition. The Groups Intern is teachable, follows through, and is willing to try something new. No ministry experience required, but a desire to help people find community and grow in their faith is necessary! This internship will likely change your life and deepen your faith as you get to witness the changed lives which happen when people are in community with one another. The experience is intended to give you opportunities which help you identify and develop the gifts God has given you to build His Kingdom.
Basic Requirements:
- Profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior- This is an absolute requirement for all interns.

- Comfortable communicating with adults.
- Able to formulate ideas into written form.

Responsibilities:
- With mentor, have conversations with coaches and leaders.
- Help people find a group and follow up to insure their connection.
- Weekly time of spiritual encouragement, coaching, and feedback.
- Work with mentor on development of discussion guides and leader training.
- If teaching is something the intern is interested in, this may be part of the experience.
- With established large group ministries, work alongside the teams to prepare and carry out gatherings, including preparing table leader materials, coordinating volunteers, and welcoming and connecting new people.
- Perhaps teach at a group with assistance of your mentor for preparation.
General info:
Expect to be on the Real Life Clermont campus (1501 Steves Road, Clermont, FL 34711) at least 3 days per week and work 15-20 hours/week.
Typical hours for most positions would be Sunday 9am-11am plus 10-15 additional hours Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm. Must be flexible to hours outside of these hours with notice. Rise and Flourish, our Men's and Women's ministries, are on alternating Monday evenings 33:30 - 8:30 and Discover Real Life, an opportunity for people to learn about our church, is one Sunday afternoon a month.
The internship is 12 weeks long from Sunday January 31st - Thursday April 22nd. No spring break is built into the schedule, but can be discussed with the team.
Pay: $150.00 per week
