Yao Law Group Employment Type: At-Will, Full-Time | In-person position 

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM | 5:00 PM 

Pay: $20.00/hour to start (increases based on performance)

About the Role 

Yao Law Group is looking for an organized, self-motivated Administrative & Marketing Assistant to support Attorney Elektra Yao and the Operations Manager. This is a hybrid role split between administrative/case support and marketing support, a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and wants to build skills across both operations and marketing. 

 

Compensation & Benefits 

● Starting pay: $20.00/hour, with opportunities for pay increases based on performance 

● Annual performance-based bonuses, awarded in August and December each year 

● 401 (k) opportunity 

● Flexible vacation days (up to 2 weeks paid, subject to approval) 

 

Responsibilities 

 

Administrative Duties, including but not limited to: 

● Organize and maintain case documents and files in an orderly manner. 

● Assemble and prepare case files for review or submission. 

● Scan, label, and save documents in the appropriate Google Drive folders or case management system. 

● Filing and shipment of cases via FedEx. 

● Prepare and pack original documents for clients. 

● Support the team with other administrative or case-related tasks as needed. 

● Market research 

 

Marketing Duties, including but not limited to: 

● Assist with content creation for a variety of marketing activities, including social media posts, external updates, blog posts, and the website. 

● Research and support content related to the firm's bag brand. 

● Assist with the development and distribution of the monthly newsletter to staff. 

● Support social media campaigns by drafting and scheduling content, and monitoring audience engagement across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X. 

● Collaborate with the marketing manager to create collateral (e.g., flyers, brochures, etc.) using tools like Canva. 

● Assist with the ideation, planning, and execution of digital and traditional marketing campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and engagement among prospective clients, referral sources, and community partners.

 

Qualifications & Skills 

● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

● Proficient in Google Workspace and document management systems 

● Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines 

● Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently 

 

Additional Details 

● New hires complete a 3-month probationary period 

● Vacation requests are subject to approval by the Attorney and Operations Manager
