Social Media and Events Intern

We are a local skincare studio and spa that offers integrative facials, full body massage, waxing, spray tanning, advanced treatments, skincare and more. We're looking for a passionate intern to help manage our social media, email marketing and other in-studio marketing efforts, including events, influencer relations and partnerships. Includes ~10 to 15 hours per week of work, some on site but some can also be virtual. 

We're looking for a candidate who's a self starter, creative, organized, takes initiative, unafraid to take risks, eager to learn and hopefully passionate about skincare. We prefer some previous internship experience and would like to see examples of the content you can create. 

Duties includes:

Experience with Meta Business, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok business accounts
Content creation & editing 

Social media graphic creation - never AI; we use Canva and have branding guidelines in place

Creating content calendars

Streamline content across social media platforms, email marketing platform and in house

Ability to draft a marketing plan to execute for next 2-3 months 

Schedule and execute content days with staff members 

Planning and executing off site partner events with local fitness studios, retail shops, etc.
