About the Role

A local real estate company in Des Moines is looking for a part-time marketing assistant to help grow its brand and reach. This role is hands-on from day one — you'll be creating the materials that get in front of buyers, sellers, and the broader community.

What you'll do

- Design flyers for property listings, open houses, and company promotions- Manage and post content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)- Keep the company's online presence consistent and on-brand- Track basic engagement metrics and flag what's working- Coordinate with agents on upcoming listings and events that need promotion

About you

- Currently studying marketing, communications, graphic design, business, or a related field- Comfortable with design tools — Canva, Adobe Express, or similar- Some experience with social media, whether personal or professional- Eye for clean, professional design- Self-starter who can manage deadlines without a lot of hand-holding

Nice to have

- Familiarity with real estate or local Des Moines market- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)- Basic knowledge of scheduling tools like Hootsuite or Later
